    CAN'T MAKE YOUR PICKUP DAY?
    If you cannot make your pickup day a friend or family member can pick it up for you or for themselves.
    WHAT TO USE FIRST​​​​​
    • Broccoli - cut florets, 4 to 5 days in a plastic, refrigerator crisper drawer
    • Peppers - don't wash until use, refrigerate in a plastic or paper bag keeping the end open, 5 to 7 days shelf life
    • Lettuce - wash, dry, place in a container with a paper towel on the top and bottom, refrigerate in crisper, 5 to 10 days shelf life  
    • Potatoes - 3 to 5 weeks in the pantry, 3 to 4 months in the refrigerator
    • Onions - store in a cool, dry, ventilated place, up to 4-6 weeks, don't store with potatoes, they expedite shelf life
    • Sugar Pumpkin - store in a cool dry place for up to 1 month
    • Butternut Squash - store in a cool dry place for up to 2 months

    • Lacinato Kale - you want to eat your greens when they are at their darkest color, especially kale, you will always get the maximum benefit
    • Sweet Corn - 1 to 3 days in the refrigerator
    • Beets - 3 to 4 days, greens removed in crisper drawer 2 to 4 weeks
    • Tomatoes - ripe, 1 to 5 days pantry and 5 to 7 refrigerator
    • Peppers - don't wash until use, refrigerate in a plastic or paper bag keeping the end open, 5 to 7 days shelf life
    • Fresh Onions - 7 to 14 days in the refrigerator​
    • Spaghetti Squash - store in a cool dry place for up to 1 month

    • We had a UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture class stop by the farm on a field trip!
    • Brooke and the crew filled mini pumpkin grab-n-go bags for the farmstand autumn display!
    • Washing and sorting honeynut squash at the round table!
    • This may not look like much, but it's spinach that has finally germinated between the drought and all of the rain we received!
    • We've been harvesting pumpkins all week and the crew worked really hard!
    • A new shipment of mums came in and they are nothing short of amazing!
    • Our fall display is up!
    • The last round of thunderstorms that pushed through ushered in the nice cooler weather, but they had plenty of cloud rotation!
    • The high tunnel is clear and ready for the soil to be worked just in time for winter growing!
