WHO IS BARDWELL FARM
WHAT ARE YOUR GROWING PRACTICES
WHEN DOES THE FARMSTAND OPEN
DO YOU RECYCLE BAGS
- We are a retail and wholesale farm supplying to local food hubs and stores. Combined with our roadside farmstand we offer a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and ornamental products year round. Currently we are growing 50 acres of diversified vegetables using sustainable growing practices.
WHAT ARE YOUR GROWING PRACTICES
- We use a preventative approach to weeds, pests, and diseases with a carefully planned IPM (Integrated Pest Management) program. This includes crop rotations, protecting beneficial insects, scouting for pest and disease threats, and application of the safest pesticides only if crop failure becomes a threat.
WHEN DOES THE FARMSTAND OPEN
- We open in April and operate 7 days a week through November.
DO YOU RECYCLE BAGS
- Yes we do, brown paper bags. If you have an abundance from the grocery store please drop them off at the farmstand, we welcome it.
