harvest cash card

support local. shop local. eat local.

Our Harvest Cash Card is totally unique. It's like a CSA, but not. No boxes, no bags, and none of the weird veggies you weren't going to use anyway. We want your experience to be practical and most of all, easy!

how it started...

The Harvest Cash Card was born out of a simple mission: to keep fresh, local vegetables affordable and accessible for our community during a time when prices everywhere were rising. With tariffs, supply chain issues, and unpredictable political decisions driving grocery store costs higher, we wanted to create a program that helped families stretch their dollar while still enjoying real, locally grown food.

By preloading a card directly with us, customers could lock in lower prices, avoid inflation at the register, and support a small farm rather than a corporate retailer. At its heart, the Harvest Cash Card was designed to protect both our customers and our farm — ensuring we can continue growing high-quality produce while helping our neighbors feed their families with dignity and value.

how it works...

why purchase a card?

Purchasing a Harvest Cash Card gives you access to fruits and vegetables we have at our farmstand every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The dollar value you choose is loaded onto a card and starting June 2nd. You can shop for what you need, when you need it, and in quantities you actually can use!
Our program is designed to be mutually beneficial for both you and our farm. By purchasing the Harvest Cash Card, you are helping our farm with pre-season expenses. This means your purchase helps us buy seeds, pay labor, and field rent before our crops are ready to bring in revenue. In turn, we offer "Bonus Value" on your card. This bonus value is extra money loaded onto your card as our thank you for helping fund our seasonal startup.

lost cards

There is a limited number Harvest Cash Cards available at each share level.

Please keep in mind when selecting your share size that this value is only valid for the season you purchase it for. On October 31st any remaining balance is invalid and non-transferable.
The Harvest Cash Card is meant to support what we grow here on the farm, but this year we’re excited to include fruit from our partner farms as well. Even though those items cost us more to bring in, we wanted to give members extra flexibility and more ways to enjoy fresh, local produce all season long.
Bardwell Farm is not responsible for lost cards. To help reduce loss, we will distribute them on June 1st. If you should lose your card, you can purchase another for $25 and we'll load your remaining balance.

Our farmstand will be locked in at the 2025 pricing, so you can always find affordable, local produce at the farm, even if grocery store costs rise.
