Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) brings together communities, farmers, and farmland into a mutually beneficial relationship that sustains local agriculture, ensures greater food security, and strengthens the commonwealth.
A CSA is the opportunity to purchase a “share” of our farm. You will be investing in the farm's harvest and the reward vs. risk we experience during the growing season!
why invest in community supported agriculture?
investing in a farm share at the start of the growing season will result in savings of 30% or more per week in your grocery bill throughout the year
the opportunity to work directly with young farmers and know where your food comes from
it helps the farmer with many early season startup costs and guarantees a home for their produce
shares will help further sustainable agricultural goals for years to come
it's a fantastic way to support a local farm and the local economy
Shares will run for 20 weeks, June 2nd through October 16th and will be choice selected by members from a variety of produce each week. Quantity and variety of produce offered to CSA members will change weekly. A Bardwell Farm representative will also be there to assist with quality, quantity, and questions. Members will also receive a Bardwell Farm tote bag, weekly pickup reminders, and be automatically subscribed to Forkful our exclusive CSA guide.
