a note to our returning CSA members
After reviewing the member feedback and statistics from last year we have created a new program. It is a simplified version of years past and we believe it will cater to everyone while giving us the ability to focus on a strong CSA package for the 2022 season.
This year we will be offering subscribers a “ Bardwell Farm Share”. This is our most popular size and will be an improved version of the "Small Share" we provided in 2021. It will feed up to 2 people and you will receive 7 to 9 vegetables each week.
If you have a larger family we welcome you to purchase an additional share or two. Shares can be purchased at a discount of $25 off each additional share (max of 3 shares per family).
Employing this new system will help streamline our workload and reduce logistics to provide fresh vegetables each week.

Shares will run for 20 weeks, June through October. Quantity and variety of produce offered to CSA members will change weekly. Curbside pickup is available. A Bardwell Farm representative will also be there to assist with quality, quantity, and questions. Members will bring their own bag, box, or basket, receive pickup day reminders, and be automatically subscribed to Forkful our weekly CSA guide.
*Bardwell Farm share will run June 7th through October 18th, Tuesday pickup day, 3pm to 6pm
*Chicopee Fresh Farmers' Market share will run June 9th through October 20th, Thursday pickup day, 11am to 3pm

what is the risk vs reward?
Sharing the Risk
We promise to do our best to provide you with a fresh and plentiful share. The quantity of produce may vary from week to week due to extreme weather events, insect pressure, disease, or other factors despite our best efforts. By joining our CSA you are agreeing to share the risk of crop loss with us and other members.
If this should happen and a small portion of crops are affected, we will compensate by filling your share with other vegetables that are ready for harvest at that time or we may also cover the loss by buying in vegetables from other local farms. This may not be a feasible option for all crops because of the difference in cost or widespread crop failure here in the valley.
